Connections

As a Corpay Cross-Border client, you can invite payees to connect with you through the Corpay Cross-Border Connections portal. These payees can be any individuals with whom you do business. The Connections portal provides a secure way for your payees to enter and share their contact and banking information with you. After you activate the connection, you can then send funds to them in the same way you send funds to any beneficiary.

In order to establish a connection with a payee, you first send them an invitation from your Corpay Cross-Border account. The payee receives an email that contains a link to the Connections portal where they create their Connections account. Then they enter their contact and banking information and share the information with you. By asking the payee to enter their information themselves, you can be confident that the information is correct and complete.

Note:

  • Currently, you can only invite individual entities to share banking information via the Connections portal. This includes individuals, independent contractors, and sole proprietorships. Companies and groups cannot be invited.

  • Only users with the required permission can send connection invitations to payees. For more information, see Creating or editing a user profile.

Important: The Connections menu is located under Templates in the toolbar.
